1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using any of the AI Chrome Extensions ("Extensions") provided by ExtLab ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please uninstall and discontinue use of the Extensions.

2. Description of Service

Our Extensions provide AI-powered text tools including but not limited to text enhancement, translation, explanation, summarization, social media copywriting, dual-language reading, and regex visualization. The Extensions operate within the Google Chrome browser and communicate with our backend servers to process requests.

3. User Accounts

Upon installation, a unique device identifier is generated and stored locally in your browser. This identifier is used to manage your quota and subscription status. You may optionally provide an email address to link your account across devices and recover paid subscriptions.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

4. Free and Paid Plans

The Extensions offer both free and paid subscription plans. Free plans include a limited daily usage quota. Paid plans provide higher quotas and additional features as described on our pricing page.

We reserve the right to modify plan features, pricing, and quotas at any time. Changes will be communicated via our website or the Extension itself. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

5. Payment and Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed through Lemon Squeezy, our authorized payment provider. By subscribing, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) depending on the plan selected. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. For our refund policy, please see our Refund Policy page.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Extensions to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Generate harmful, abusive, threatening, or illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Extensions
• Resell or redistribute access to the Extensions without authorization
• Use automated scripts to abuse free-tier quotas
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our services

8. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and materials comprising the Extensions are the intellectual property of ExtLab. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extensions for personal or commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Extensions are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Extensions will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

AI-generated content may not always be accurate or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before use.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExtLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Extensions, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Extensions at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Extensions will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Extensions after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
